Believe in Love is the translation of Cres En Amor - Benoir's first full length release since 2015. Inspired by his premiere visit to Puerto Rico - listeners are invited on a tropical journey with jazzy-flamenco and Brazilian-tinged original songs including one reggae acoustic love song - "Song For You". Benoir composed all of the music, played all of the instruments (guitar, 5 string fretless bass, violin, keyboard, drum set, djembe, melodica, percussion) and invited singer-songwriter Audrie Jones to provide the light and airy female harmonies heard across the album. Life doesn't always go the way we planned it, and this album is a wonderful testament of taking a situation that could have plunged an artist into darkness, into an even more love-filled life. A limited amount of physical CD's will be offered at a CD release in the future. Full price purchasers of this release will be offered a physical copy in person or by mail. Benoir Long Beach, New York

Benoir is best known for his unique voice on the guitar. His love of jazz began at the age of 13 when he attended a Stony Brook IAJE program led by Arnie Lawrence. He majored in Jazz Performance / Studio Music at the U Of M and has performed with; Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon), Pharoah’s Daughter, Tribe Of Djembe, Kema Jamal, Anna Pipoyan and Rhys Chatham’s 200 guitar orchestra “A Crimson Grail”. ... more
